LUCKIN COFFEE
Project
LUCKIN COFFEE
This concept explores how Luckin Coffee, a global digital-first coffee brand from China, could establish its presence in Indonesia while maintaining its core identity.
Luckin Coffee is built on system, speed, and efficiency — not on spatial experience.
The design therefore supports fast transactions, app-based ordering (100% digital), and a fully cashless system.
Core Concept
Urban Grab & Go with Indonesian Social Adaptation
The layout is designed with:
-
One-way circulation
-
Clear pickup station (transit zone)
-
Compact counter
-
3–5 minute transaction target
-
Minimal enclosed space
Movement is direct and efficient, eliminating distraction and stagnation.
At the same time, the concept respects Indonesia’s strong coffee culture — where cafés function as meeting points, remote work spaces, and social hubs.
Seating is compact and intentional:
-
Communal tables
-
Small-group seating
-
Comfortable, but not designed for long stays
Visual Identity
-
Deep blue and white palette
-
Strong color-based branding
-
Deer logo as a symbol of speed and modernity
-
Urban industrial character
-
Local material touches (wood, rattan, warm tones)
The result is a space that remains fast, digital, and operationally efficient — while subtly adapting to Indonesian social behavior.
